Meet Andressa

Andressa Málaga Barreto is a Brazilian-born architect, licensed in Brazil, with a lifelong passion for sustainable design. Since graduating from architecture school in 2006, Andressa has dedicated her career to creating spaces that not only reflect the dreams of her clients but also resonate deeply with the environment and spirituality. After working in New York City, Andressa relocated to New Mexico, where she immersed herself in the principles of sustainable living through Earthship Biotecture. For six years, she worked closely with Earthship’s founder, Michael Reynolds, as his assistant, refining her approach to eco-conscious architecture. Her work goes beyond just designing structures—it’s about bringing people closer to their deep dreams, bridging the gap between their physical needs and spiritual aspirations. This philosophy continued in collaboration with architect Mark Goldman for another four years, who also inspired her to focus on affordable always focusing on designs that honor both the individual and the planet. With sustainability as the foundation of every project, Andressa strives to help clients realize their visions in a way that respects nature and connects them to their most profound desires.
